Giedrė has been working with the National Library of Lithuania since 2006. She started working with public Libraries as Lithuanian Integrated Library Information system administrator. Since 2012 she has been the project manager in Strategic Project Development Department. She was a part of “Libraries for Innovation“  and “Libraries for Innovation 2” teams (project funded by B.&M Gates foundation). Currently is the Head of Project Management unit and a part of the team of EU funded project “Promoting Smart Use of Refurbished Public Internet Access Infrastructure among Residents”.  She advocates Libraries at “Culture and Art” and “Culture heritage digitization” national wide councils, also work Artificial intelligence and Data analytics related workgroups leaded by Economy and innovation ministry.

She has earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering informatics and a master‘s degree in e-government administration.
