ITIJA VESPERE

Itija Vespere is a young information science enthusiast who works as a public relations specialist of Kuldiga Main Library, Latvia. Itija has previous experience and education in the media and cultural field. Her main duties are to promote library services and events, to organize library lessons for schools, trainings in groups or individually about media literacy and information literacy, how to use Internet services for more productive life and general training in information technology and library services. She also works as a local radio host in broadcast about media literacy. Itija is interested in the new technologies and the possibilities of introducing them into the educational work of the library.
